Daily Prompt: Blanket

Life is sure a blanket that hides off our memories of past and lets us live in the present. But sometimes a small signal is enough to bring back the past. The feeling, emotions are same.
Music is one such small signal that brings back such emotions. An old memorable song, the song you heard when you were depressed, the song that you used to dance on, the song that kind of related to your situations at times etc and etc. I am sure most of you might have experienced this. Sometimes certain songs can be suffocating to the extent where you forget about what you are doing in the present.
This happened to me recently. I was very intrigued. It is surprising that something that most of us do to relax has such a big impact on our lives sometimes. Though some people might be having a career in music, it still isn’t a mainstream yet. Even in movies, songs are for few minutes (we do have background music ), Even though, it does have a profound affect on the movie experience on the whole.

Sure music is an integral part of our life and sometimes the only one we can get help from. But when the music is too overwhelming better stop it and go to sleep.
Sleep is still the best medicine for any problem.

    1. Well… talk to someone, play sports and though it might not always work, eating is also a good stress reliever πŸ˜€

    1. Yes. But I meant it to the people who have no one to talk about. If you do have then lucky you are. If not then you need to be strong enough to solve it by yourself.
